2nd : You get more then a month rebill ... but according to what your site looks like, member longevity probably average 3 days. 3rd : Don't jump in a business you know NOTHING about 4th : Don't jump in a business that's already saturated, expecting to get nothing and make the money. Nowdays affiliates programs do the job for their affiliates, offer free hosting, even pay for the domains and everything... they also offer tons of free content to use. Do your research... and get a new site/nickname cauz right now you're looking like a fucking tard without any mareketing and business sence. 3 $ a member @ 300 new members a day is still better then 10 $ a member @ 0 members a day ... |

P.S. #2 : Sorry about beeing harsh, but this thread is just ... an instant classic... I mean ... people did that kind of business plan in 1998ish...
I'd suggest you get good equipement / lightning ... and maybe start shooting content if that'S something you're good at ... for others. Good money to be made, and you'll gain experience that way . Right now honestly... there isn't much to be done with your site... |
Dont worry about upsetting anyone on here. Everyone was new once, everyone makes mistakes, new and old. There is no magical method of getting rich except to rip off the customers.
Allot of the advertiding you can do yourself, offer what you can afford, if people dont join your program so what, you can advertise it yourself, keep all the money, then put it back into the site and eventually it will be what you ant it to be. Quote:

There are lots of profetionals content producers in this business who are making a good living ... Fresh faces are hard to find ... you can even be their "agent" and reffer them to other compagneis for a refferal fee ... lots of $ to be done in talent management + content production. |
And a lot of webmasters are probably too shy to pickup a camera and try hustling to get girls ... geeks don't have game.

I really got curious about this thread after it hit the 3rd page. Just looking at the title and reading the first page I thought it was a joke too. You've stated that you're new to the biz, but at least savvy enough to put together a paysite (which I assume is a full funtional paysite) complete with processing. You've even gone as far as thinking about a partner program. But when people as you for standard promotional material like a FHG (free hosted gallery), you have no idea what it is.
So I'm not 100% sure this isn't a joke, but what the hell. There's all kinds of issues in this thread so far. I'm glad to see you've calmed down and accepted some constructive critiques of your program and site. It was pretty quick to see that low balling potential partners and belittling them for asking for the industry standard payout wasn't the correct route to go. Especially for a site with little content and not alot of positive marketing points. With a site like this chances are that affilliates are going to be your bread and butter. Unless you're a web guru of some sort, you'll learn a valuable lesson that marketing is the hardest part of this and any other business. Honestly, if you get more than 1 or 2 sign ups a day I'd be surprised. I hope for your sake I'm wrong. How were you planning on getting people to see the site anyways? I would suggest you add some additional promo materials to your partner program and really go out of your way to attract affilliates to your program. Provide good customer service to both your affilliates and members. Since the site and program are new, make sure you keep the site fresh with new content so your members want to stay and your partners get as many rebills as possible. Maybe join a few affilliate programs to see what other companies are offering. Join ours if you want. If all else fails try selling of content or rebrand and relaunch the site. But don't jump the gun to make changes right away. Chances are it will not be an overnight success. Just learn more about marketing your site and stick with it. Good luck to you. P.S. What the hell is the "W" in soloWteens.com? I'm baffled. |

so low teens |
Wow! It's been a long time since I have seen someone torched like this! Does he have a point or not concerning his overall expenses versus his payout and his bottom line?
How many of us have actually started a paysite? What about being shaved, would you rather work hard thinking you're getting 50% when in reality it's more like 35%-40%, or would you rather get a true 35%-40% knowing that there is no shaving? Now we covered this in one of the shows way back when - most said they would rather get paid honestly.... has this gone out the door? Is this like everything else in the world that is being priced out of the market? |

The rest is all bonus... at 50/50, you'd have to be really dumb not to get into your money when having a good ammount of affiliates. |
P.S. 50/50 have been an industry standard for ever...
