In older browsers [ i don't even know how I would test this] is there a max file name length?

A long shot, but I have a page that hasn't been converting, I'm wondering if extreemly long file names could cause a problem on older browsers??

Well if people with REALLY old browsers can't see your uber-long file name documents, they probably can't afford a new computer, can't afford your porn, and aren't worth worrying about

i think it only causes probs with macs? file names > 31 chars with their old os

doesn't effect/harm anything just takes up more bandwidth and such if too many files are that long

Jebus, you'd be better off naming shorter with maybe a # in the name corresponding to a lookup table in a DB that corresponds to your 2257 data, if anything just to not look so crazy.
