Can long file names cause problems?
In older browsers [ i don't even know how I would test this] is there a max file name length?
A long shot, but I have a page that hasn't been converting, I'm wondering if extreemly long file names could cause a problem on older browsers?? |
why the long file name? think search engines will like it or something? :D
|
i dont think so but then again i guess anything is possible
|
Well if people with REALLY old browsers can't see your uber-long file name documents, they probably can't afford a new computer, can't afford your porn, and aren't worth worrying about :)

i think it only causes probs with macs? file names > 31 chars with their old os

Not for seo, more 2257 url tracking. |
define: long.
|
doesn't effect/harm anything just takes up more bandwidth and such if too many files are that long
