Les is certainly one of the greats. I never studied the man only because he plays a 6 string bass. You can't come close to his sound or technique on a regular 4 string bass. It would sound stupid and anyone telling you that My name is mud is easy to play almost certainly isn't playing it right. Unless they play a 6 string fretless.

Tim is a crazy good drummer as well. Is he still playing with them?

Anyways, pick something with 4 strings and we are golden. My nuts can only play 2 strings at a time.

Yeah Tim joined back up with them year before last I believe. I saw them last year with the original members. Fucking awesome show.

You guys should all download Guitar Pro 4's Free Demo Version. Then you could tab in your separate parts and then pass it around to each other. I used to do that a couple of year's ago, except we would tab out actual songs we liked. It's a great learning tool for learning songs as well. You can then submit your songs to mysongbook afterwards for the world to see and comment/rate on.
