Stupid Things That Pets Do

How many of you have pets that do stupid things. I have a dog that's pretty demented at times. He'll wait for his shit to freeze, then he'll flip the turds around in the air, playing with them. Then on occasion, he'll eat it. Talk about a stomache turner seeing that, ha ha ha.

Heck, I might be able to use him for a new niche, "Scat Beastiality", ha ha ha.

My cat likes to taunt me!!

He will run over start pawing at my big screen (thank god I have a screen saver) and then I will run over and scold him then he will run back to my leather chair which I was sitting in and then not get up.

Then when I kick him off my chair the little bastard will go knock over a glass full of water. Then he will fucking cry until I take him outside on the balcony.

Little bastard but I love him!!

Holy, I thought it was just my dog. I have seen him doing that in the backyard on several occasions with his frozen turds.

My dog is a shit eater flat out. You can always tell when has found the cat box because he has cat litter all around his muzzle. Sick bastard.

LOL!!! Kiddingggggggg

My dog Sully has never eaten shit, at least never when I'm around or watching him. But he does take quite an interest in sniffing it sometimes, especially if it's from another dog.

But I've never seen anyone's dog turn around more times than mine before he settles in for a good shit. MAN, he paces back and forth and does like fifteen turns sometimes before he's ready to dump.

Slick, too bad there's not hockey league for dogs, it sounds like he's waiting for it to freeze because he wants a puck to play with, heh heh.

My younger cat likes to sit on paper. I don't understand why, but I've deduced she must dig the crinkling sound it makes. It could be a magazine, printer paper, anything. Last night I droped a little 2 by 3 inch receipt on the floor, I look over and she's sitting on it purring. All I could see is was a little corner of it sticking out from under her paw. I only noticed because she was moving around and making it crinkle.
Nutty.
She's the same one that starts crying for breakfast 5 minutes before my alarm goes off every morning.

cheshire.. yea but thats not "stupid" or weird at all, my last cat did it and the same with my current. at first she sits on the newspaper and 2 hours later you can throw 100 pieces of it away

beside the fact that my cat always waits in some dark areas of my house just to CATCH me when I walk there.. and I mean catch she has some weird behaviour when I come home:
not coming out to welcome me home but directly going to the FRIDGE... I dont know why really, she'll never get something from me in the kitchen

LOL!

DrinkingHard: One of my cats does more or less the same thing. He will sit and meow and meow in the kitchen, and when I get up to go see what he wants, he zips into the "office" and sits on my chair.

He also has a fascination with the caps from mountain dew bottles and loves to play fetch.

My other one just had kittens - 6 in all and they're all beautiful. She's such a good mom. Damn my vet though for miscalculating when she'd go into heat!

My dog is hyperactive and when he gets excited he'll chase his stub (where a tail once was) until he gets dizzy - then he stumbles around like a crack fiend for 10 minutes.

Then he does it again.

my 9 month old kitten is a lil shit, he loves to chase his tail or any free item i bring home ex: a plastic spoon. I spent like 40 bux on a toy for him and he thought the box and plastic were more fun. earlier today he thought it would be a good idea to rip open the litter bag and shit all over it.. guess its better than the floor.. i think he wants a litter change.. whatcha think?

My dog thinks he is the Squirrel hunter...

First thing in the morning, he runs outside and stands there in full form! Nope he doesn't piss, nope he doesn't sniff, he just stands there like he is scoping out the scene.

Then all of a sudden if he see's something roaming around outside he will run like a bat outta hell.... I have had to chase him halfway down the block and back.

And the funny thing is he never catches them damn squirrels. They laugh at him like the moron he is!@@

Another thing he does, he tries to take a shit halfway in the air, sometimes on trees... It's the funniest site to see.....

One of these days I'll get some pics....

*note I have a beagle... they dont stfu!!!

Okay Brian911, how about this one... My cats know when I get home from work on Friday that I'm their's for the weekend so they go nuts! Running all over, beating eachother up, speeding from one room to the next, and flying up the cat 'treehouse'... it's a freak show 'til they're so worn out they collapse for the night. ONLY on Friday does this happen.

Whenever Spring rolled around and we began opening windows
around the house, my cat snirt would go to the door and hang
from the doorknob and do that cat yodeling thing that they do
with this real slow pathetic meow, just his two front paws wraped
around the knob and you could practically here him pleading
"let me outside..."

Sometimes he would just hang there for like 20 minutes before
letting go...

Sometimes, my cat will summon the powers of Satan. It's pretty cool to watch.

When I was a kid, I had my hamster cage right next to my fish tank. I came home one night and found the hamster floating in the fish tank.

The poor little guy was still alive...apparently he escaped from his tank and fell right in the water.

My cat, the nutcase otherwise known as Jemmi, licks plastic. I don't know why but she will just go through these bouts where she is licking plastic bags, saran wrap or anyother kind of thin plastic.

However, she is also a smart cat. We live on the third floor and have a balcony. When it is warm out we let her out on the balcony and more often than not she is reluctant to come inside when I want to close the door. So, I started closing the door on her and waiting until she started crying to be let in. Then one day I am sitting watching tv and I see this little furry head pop up in the glass window of the door. Now, this windo is about four feet off the ground. I thought I imaged it and went back to watching tv. The next thing I know I hear a clunk, the door opens and Jemmi walks in the house. I couldn't figure it out so the next day I did the same thing and was sneaky and watched her from the upstairs window. Turns out she figured out that if she leaped into the air she could hang on (and I mean hanging by her paws) to the door handle (again 4 feet up) and that her body weight would push it down and open the door. Still highly amusing when we are in here and we see her leaping up past the window. Alteast I don't have to get up to let her in now. Luckily she hasn't figured out that she could do the same from inside to let herself out..yet.

p.s. I once read that the reason dogs eat poo is because they are lacking something in their diet. They do it to get nourisment from the waste. Atleast that is what I read. My childhood dog used to chew rocks from time to time. The vet said it helped with digestion. Animals usually have a reason for the things they do.

Yeah, its called Coprophagia. Our dog has a good diet, he just loves the taste of poo. Esp frozen poo. I see him sniff around over the snow until he sniffs it out and then its chow time.

My golden retriever will sit in the livingroom and stare at the can lights in the ceiling until he sees spots, and then wanders around the room trying to bite them.... Idiot!

Well [Labret], it looks like we'd better change around our dogs diet then, ha ha ha.

The thing is that I can kinda understand the part about him eating his turds, but what's with him tossing around the frozen turds ? Is he like a kid that likes to play with his food ??
