What the FUCK??? AUTOMATICALLY Adding Folders and Icons to my Start Menu???
I just went to my Windows 2000 start menu to start a program and noticed a new program folder...
Start Menu > Programs > Adult Erotic Guide Having no idea what the hell it was, I went into the folder. Somehow there are 47 links to different categories of sites in this folder. Has anyone else seen this? Have they figured out how to add folders and icons to the damn menu with javascript or something?? To my knowledge, no strange files have been opened or downloaded and installed on this computer. All of the links point to: http://www.adult-erotic-guide.net/to...layground.html which all redirect to venusseek.com.. Maybe someday Microsoft will release a browser that is secure enough to keep 5 year old hackers out of my system. |

lots of those little windows that pop up where you have to answer yes or no are usually the culprits.. clicking yes or no doesn't matter.. either one will perform the same function.
I had a dialer icon put on my desktop, plus it added its number to my dialup connections list. I just ctrl-alt-del anymore when they pop up. I've got a program called Reg Cleaner that I also use to get stuff out of the registry too.. it's pretty good. |

KC, I know you're kind of a new to computers but you're supposed to answer 'NO' not 'YES' when it says 'always trust Microsoft'. Hehe.
