Bump for a good, trustworthy and hardworking man, and a good father and a kind and caring person.

Anyone else who knows Tom and has befriended him, please reply and help bump this thread to get him some business.

I know you folks are out there, though Tom doesn't like to bother people though and ask to have threads bumped; I suggested her post a thread to get some more business and he showed me this thread, and I am posting with my own free will.

Va2k / Tom is a very good man, and he'll get your orders done; he works at home for himself so he can have more time with his children.

I'll keep bumping this thread until others come out of hiding and vouch for him too.

Matt

Sadly for your business you're potentially losing money if that's what you think, as a quality design / simplicity doesn't mean better conversions - amateur looking sites can convert better for certain things, as high-quality designs can convert better for certain things. It all depends on your target market.

For example, look at the quality of some of the paid listings on www.thehun.com -

#1 listing - http://www.signuprightnow.com/badtee...ps_thehun.html
#3 listing - http://www.crazynakedchicks.com/movi...b4/thehun.html
#4 listing - http://www.sweetnjuicey.com/teens/teenmovies349.html
#6 listing - http://galleries.projectvoyeur.com/2005/gallery43o.htm

It mostly depends on the quality of the content, and load time of the gallery, if you're ordering galleries.

Fris - There's some tips for your business for you, and everyone.

Yup, exactly, though it's always a good idea to experiment and see what converts the best; including with designs.

Ever wonder why they have multiple tours for individual sites? Some tours will convert better for different traffic sources / different peoples' traffic; same idea.

correct .... designs also help on traffic conversion (maybe in other way out) ... maybe fris know that , it doesn't mean simple design can't be a traffic boosters

thanks matt

Remove all of the spaces.. and set url=http://www.pregnantcoeds.com preferrably to your webmaster affiliate page, though allowing webmasters to see the site first would work too.

Yea, I didn't link it for a reason. I didn't have my sig linked in prob a yr or so. Just thinking about it, I could use solid affiliates who actually send traffic, so I decided to link it again.

Thanks for looking out

Hey Zuzana.. I agree with ya and I've already paid for my big order; I know he wouldn't take on more than he could handle or ruin his reputation.. so I feel safe; and I've met him a few times.. nice and gentle guy, same as when you deal with him online.

I'd like $7000 in design work. Please let me know when you're available available to build me 700 galleries or 35 paysites or 280 FPAs. If you can't find the time, feel free to cut me a check for $7000.

Tom's a good guy, he'll make it good with you. I'm sure you're not happy; I wouldn't be either, though your prices are higher-end, and if the bill somehow came to $7k then most hosting companies would cut a deal for the bulk amount used, though I know you don't do that [I also imagine it was a thumb TGP Tom launched and got bigger than he expected, or possibly relating to a paysite].

$7k sounds like a lot, in reality we don't know the details, and it isn't any of our business -- If you're not talking to Tom on ICQ Brad then that's your fault for not being available.. Not taking sides, just being a neutral advisor, or something.

Brad - What email should Tom use to work-out a payment plan with you [since you're not responding to him on ICQ]?

Hm. I'm also curious if it's actually $7,000 he owes you, or if you're just throwing out a number?

Anyway, Tom works for himself and is a great designer and a nice, kind, gentle guy who wouldn't fuck anyone over. He works for himself because he has two kids that he wants to have more time with. You'll get whatever amount you're actually owed, and it'd be a kind gesture on your part if you at least talked to him ... no one else knows if $7,000 is the actual amount owed .. so it's pretty wishy-washy of you to come into a thread and just throw that out.

Perhaps you'll actually accept design work as apart or in whole of repayment; he has lots of happy customers who've already posted in this thread; I'm one of them.

Brad - It's also not solely his fault if you let him rack up "$7,000" in hosting bills, even though it was a kind gesture on your part.. Many hosts would have cut him off by then, though you allowed him to continue even though the reason whatever the amount is got to such a size is because he couldn't pay for it, and you continued to offer him services with unpaid bills.. I think it's fair if you workout a fair deal together.

Brad - I'm asking this for Tom, so please send the information to Tom [not me].

Can you please provide/email the bandwidth usage (gigabytes used) for any bandwidth not paid for, and it would also be appreciated if you can provide log files for the use as well [so it can all be confirmed as Tom has no way to verify it otherwise; I'm sure you'd have / save logs].

So please send that info to Tom at [email protected] so you guys can start a conversation ... this is for you to get whatever is owed to you, so it'd be silly for you not to talk to him in a respectable way...

Okay, done posting about this..

Tom - I'm happy with my order so far.

HAHAHAHAHAH

Matt,

Thanks for weighing in but you really have no clue what's going on here. The actual balance is $8452 and it ended up being me carrying him for a period of around 10 months. This wasn't some one off overage bill and how dare you even imply that if it was that I wouldn't be the type to cut him a deal. Evidently, you don't know the first thing about how I take care of my clients. Don't be presumptuous about me "not answering ICQ" he is referring to the message he sent me at 11pm last night, not any previous attempts to contact me. I don't hang out on ICQ in the evenings.

And telling me "It's also not solely his fault if you let him rack up "$7,000" in hosting bills, even though it was a kind gesture on your part" is the dumbest fucking statement I have ever heard. How do you think he was able to put whatever food on his table? Obviously, I took a risk carrying him beyond what I would extend in any regular circumstance but that was done in good faith because of his continued promise to make good on the balance. If he wasn't a "kind, gentle person" I wouldn't have carried the balance. This doesn't mean that I don't have every right to payment Matt.

Tom,

You know I've always wanted the best with you. If there is any way that you can resolve this over time you know that would be acceptable to me. I'm dissapointed that nothing has been done in ages but I am confident you can make good on this if you desire to.

Brad
