Sadly for your business you're potentially losing money if that's what you think, as a quality design / simplicity doesn't mean better conversions - amateur looking sites can convert better for certain things, as high-quality designs can convert better for certain things.
It all depends on your target market.

It mostly depends on the quality of the content, and load time of the gallery, if you're ordering galleries.
