Will, just a heads up. I would not make this personal. AFF pays tons of money out. Cams.com has better support and pays less. People should test both for a bit. See what works for them.

The is nothing "gun shy" about why I prefer to be paid now over later but everyone is entitled to their opinions.

Most of my income over time has been from subscription sales to my own paysite. I have used the cams on and off to generate extra now and then before, but now am using it regularly since the Featured Broadcaster function lets me broadcast for free to my members. But my memberships are still my main income.

I lost no money to iBill, but a site I was working for JUST signed up to the 800 service two weeks before the shit hit the fan, so it didn't lose much, but I definitely know what people were going through.

If "gun shy" is a bad phrase for it, then I will stick with "overly cautious." :)

sorry i don't believe the amount of hits your site gets has anything to do with how much money I can make, well if anything the more hits your site gets the less i would stand to make due to saturation.

LOL if anything is saturated and tired its Ifriends.. Dude look at what ya just said. hahahahah Ya cant have it both ways. I dont believe in saturation on community sites, with new fresh models coming on every day, there is always something new to keep teh surfer happy. I also think as much as you say you avoid risk by gettin your money up front, you are taking massive risk by puttin most if not all your Time and energy building up ifriends. If they go under you will take forever to come back. If you spliut your traffic up you would make slightly less with them but you would protect yourself from them going out of buisness. Not saying that they are just as you pointed out anyone can go under for a number of reasons. I know all too well about 3rd parties as I got raped by DMR back in the day I lost minimal to nothing when Ibill went under because I no longer use any 3rd party processing. I too like to spread the risk around :) At some point we will earn all of your traffic. you are a good marketeer and a smart person I look forward to the day we get you to send us your mass of surfers :)

Not to mention he is on the revhsare model with iFriends. He is working for the referral cash.

I totally agree with this as well.

For me clickcash far outperforms, but then again I haven't landed any whales either to make Lars' program worth pushing. However, I know even if I had made 10% of the revshare that I've sent to clickcash over the years I'd have been retired SEVERAL times over by now...kills me to think about it lol.

Anyways, for those of you wanting the best of BOTH worlds you'd be missing out if you didn't push these guys. Big Cash Crew has a 25 buck / 20% combined setup that'd you'd be NUTS to not test out. Nice join page link, etc...

:thumbsup

I agree with most of what you said. What I like about ifriends is that *I* can advertise it about 10 different ways that is one of the main reasons why I think I do so well with clickcash. If people send their traffic to ifriends.com or if they advertise it only as a webcam site I can see how that would back a saturated argument. I personally am not a big believer of saturation, but i know a lot of people sware by it and is why i throw it out there. You can elimate the thought of saturation 100% if you are advertising a company/ product that gives you a lot of flexability with your marketing. I can advertise ifriends as a webcam site, dating site, mega porn site, solo girl cam site, avs type site, etc. I can also market different aspects of the site like HDTV, multi angle cams, and free shows just to name a few. If you get stuck with using the same old ads that everyone else is using, that can't help the webmaster no matter what you promoting.

In regards to the risk, if I wanted to switch everything to cams (everything) it really would only take me a couple hours. I just don't see how that is taking a risk and the need to spread it around. If i make 10% less with Company B, and i send them 1/2 my traffic, then all i need is Company A to stay in business for more then 20 weeks for me to come ahead. Basically if I lose 1,500 a week by spliting my income, in 20 weeks time I would have lost 1 whole week's income from company A. then if Company A goes down and I lose a paycheck I am still ahead of the game. After doing ClickCash for 5 years I am a couple months ahead of the game. And if ClickCash went under I could convert TeamClickCash to TeamLars and make the transition in a few days, I doubt it would be hard to get everyone to follow me over :)

It's taken me quite a while to get a few big fish but it's nice to see some in there now! It really pays off! You just don't know....Lars's program is the shit...but you have to be verrrrry patient.

adultchica 11-23-2005 02:00 PM

You can go in and see which cam girls they spend their money on in the stats too, some of these guys get addicted to one or two girls and build a rapport with them. This is great for recurring revenue. If the model is treating the customer right, YOU the webmaster get rewarded with more money and SHE gets rewarded too for doing a good job

. And then when the new girls come out, they sample them out too.

Woohoo Cams.com 2.0 is comin on WAY strong move your click cash traffic to the New cams Leader Cams.com 2.0

BigCashCrew 01-15-2006 06:49 PM

You guys should test out a new program that is kicking ass. It's a great alternative to both of these programs. I've worked with PPS for 4 years. Revshare is a great way to go. My programs will be big in 2006. BigCashCrew! Our stats are awesome and people are making good money with me. Check out this thread for more details ;)
