Unix Command to show the hostory of commands you typed in ?
I tried 'history' which is what I thought it was but I got "history : not found" I typed in set history=20, then typed in ls, then typed in history and that didn't work ...
I am using scp -r and have a folder that is still going 20 minutes later, nothing I am copying should be this large so I want to make sure I didn't make a typo.. Any ideas here?

You can always hit the left arrow key while in SSH. And keep hitting it to keep going further back.
