It involves a high profile company Ebay beiing used to perpertrate a crime.

Charly, you are so out of touch with the way things work here. The local police would be happy to shut most of US down! They are not going to help us. If they arrested him, they might investigate any of us as well just to see if they could take us down as well. That's why you don't "go to the cops" when you want to report child porn. You go to ASACP or something like that which will pass it along second-hand and anonymously. Anyway, the local police would go into a quandary over jurisdiction. It's a federal matter, and we have an attorney general who'd see this as simply civil war amongst a bunch of criminals.
