Doubtfull. Current XBOX lovers will slobber all over it like a crackwhore on a strangers cock and the early realase will maybe gain a few converts. PS3 will eventually pass it up though. i thought sega pulled out of the hardware market...sega sports games were the best on dreamcast and now they are known retitle as ESPN.

to me the xbox 360 seems like a minor step in hardware, we already have dual/multi core, we already have the geforce7800, what the fuck is the xbox 360 going to bring that is so much better.

dreamcast was really popular. It's the game titles that sucked ass

So SEGA pulled out of the console amrket to make games for their competition who have bigger budgets and more brains to put together a good game.

It's too bad tho cause the dreamcast was really the first home brew friendly console. No mod chip needed, just a boot loader.

Though I think it would be interesting to see what they would have now.

Genesis was cool as hell but SNES was absolutely amazing.

Xbox 360 will dominate IMO. Grand tursimo and a few rally games is all ps3 has over Xbox. PS3 might have more power so what they both do high def and do it well by the look of it. The way the consoles are going Xbox will dominate, they have the interaction. All games are Xbox live compatible and when people realize what they can do with that Xbox will push ahead. Once you've played multiplayer games racing or fighting vs 10-20 real other people its pathetic to go back to single player games vs bad AI.

Bull, the best games i have ever played was on Dreamcast.. remember SoulCalibur? or Samba the Amigo? Ferarri f355 and many many more

Nintendo will never flop... They make profit from their consoles and their own games... Not to mention their handhelds...

Whats great about Nintendo is they prefer to push new boundaries on how to play games rather than have the best graphics in the world and produce more generic games on the XBOX...

XBOX 360 attracts a unique crowd, PC gamers who want to sit on a couche.

I think is they release so good MMORPGs right away then they will be set. The only reason I would have bought a Revolution is for all the old school NES games, but I just found out they rereleaser NES toploaders about a month ago so I picked one up for 40 bucks.

You and bangman don't read too fucking well do you? Did I say Nintendo was #1 NOW? Who was the #1 console maker say circa 1986-1996? Ummmmm... Nintendo. My point is at that time before Playstation and before XBOX one would think that Nintendo would always be #1 since they basically dominated the console market. Agreed its in the games and so far it just seems like xb is going to have more original titles, again it only seems this way so far imo. Thing about sony and their "power" is they always show insane tech demos but it never turns out as good as they advertised, ps2's emotion engine, that was all bullshit. Im just not a fan of parts 4,5,6,7,8, infinity... that ps2 system seems to have in the majority of their games. I see more originals goin to 360 this time.

One thing for sure which is suprising is MS kicked Sony's ass in the aesthetic department this time. If the ps3 really does end up lookin how it does including its "spiderman" font, I just think that will be a big mistake for Sony. The psp is the best piece of hardware they have made, I'll give them that.
