The Audi influence on the Gallardo has made it the most driveable Lambo ever.Everyone i've talked to about it says that annual costs won't be any more than my porsches.The upside with Lambo is that the dealer,which is 100 miles from me will come to the house and pick it up by truck for any service needs.

Personally I hate the Gay-ardo, nice status car, but there are a lot better choices for less money. The Chevrolet Z06 comes out next month... You should've waited for that :)

I'll take a look at the Z06 when it's available.It would have to be a lot better in fit and finish than the current and previous models to be seriously considered as an addition.

The next Z06 is nice, extremely fast, but I drove a standard C6 three weeks ago and found the interior materials not up to par...at all. In fact the plastics were analagous to those I've seen in recent Kia/Hyundais. The leather seats were similarly brutal, I don't know what animals they're sourcing the hides from but they're terrible. There was a large degree of chassis flex, and the steering felt vague during high speed cornering.

You should know more than most considering your garage that there's more to picking any car besides straightline speed, your comments come off as amatuer.

The Gallardo is a great car, Minte made the perfect choice for his needs: A more passionate 911. That's basically what the G is when it comes down to it. I love it, and feel it's a vastly underrated car. Comparing it to any Vette is laughable.

Congrats on owning one of the best cars ever. Far from just a status car, its a perfect performer all around.

I won't doubt that what was said there probably happened.But the whole story is riddled with theory and conjecture.I have done a lot of research on the G before taking the plunge,and looked at a number of cars.The quality of the build has been excellent.

Cars like Lamborghini,Ferrari,Porsche etc..don't get to and remain at the top of the most desired car lists if they are inferior.

My G is the 6sp..I really never considered the egear.I have an M3smg and am very familiar with the downsides to the system.

the smg in the M3 is working just awesome compared to the egear in the gallardo. testdrive one with egear an you will see what i mean.

well. thats what i thought too. anyways, i dont think it would make any sense to keep telling you how bad this manufacturer is and what bricks of shit those cars are, because you wouldnt believe it. i didnt believe it either. sometimes you have to make your own experiences till you realize that all those things people told you before were true.

anyways, i still hope you are lucky with your Gallardo, although i dont think so.
