Geo-IP Targeting and Ad-Serving System "Geocise" is making waves again!

The bidding is over, and it sold at the charity auction for only 1k

We would have liked to see higher bids, but obviously alot of the industry's "heavy hitters" are in Amsterdam AND it's for a great cause!

Congratz to the good people at Naked Rhino Media Inc. on the winning bid!

Here's a couple testimonials BTW

One of the tests we ran did 98 profiles and 9 sales from a nongeotargeted ad that just said "find a fuck buddy in your area", the geotargeted version did 680 profiles and 39 sales

I highly recommend companies to utilize and take advantage of GEO-IP technology for optimizing their online marketing. GEO-cise software has been easy to use and a worthy investment for our uses.

For those that don't really grasp what it is
... read the following:

What it does:
- It allows you to deliver dynamic images based on your surfer's geographical location. Imagine being able to target banners and ads to a surfer's city. You can grab your surfer's attention and increase click-thrus very easily with this patent-pending technology

What is it?:
- It's a desktop application that allows you to generate graphics and upload them in minutes, and it works in conjunction with server software that allows the process to work seamlessly together.

Made for Designers
- No programming needed! Just open your creative, customize your targeted ads or banners and upload!

Lightning fast
- From screen to server in seconds! Once you have created your customized ads or banners you can use them immediately in your campaigns!

Turn-key solution
- We install everything on your server. No need to setup complicated configurations, once installed its ready to use!

WYSIWYG
- Creative management. What you see in the Geocise preview window is what your surfers will see.

Friendly, Familiar Interface
- Familiar window based environment that makes your work experience more enjoyable and efficient. Practically no training is required!

BTW - Another high-profile company recently purchased our system too!

It's worth every penny because it simply WORKS!

Responses like these are somewhat frustrating, but makes me laugh also - FORGET YOU and YOUR CITY for a minute!

LOL

Whoever says "this isn't MY CITY" is missing the point.

If it's accurate only 70% of the time and doubles or triples click-thru rates and revenue- wtf?

GeoMarketing can NEVER be 100% accurate ALL THE TIME.

There are a number of variables at play. The geo solution provider where you get your "database" from, who owns the IPs in what city (which ISP), whether or not you're surfing on proxies or AOL, etc.

We're looking at 70% - 80% accuracy with what we're providing presently.

That's HUGE when you take into consideration the following:

The fact of the matter is simply that surfers are somehow drawn to click when they see their city or something in their closely surrounding area ... THAT'S IT!

More clicks translates into more sales ... WAKE UP!

Looks like Naked Rhino Media got an awesome deal! Very cool of you guys to have donated it to the auction too.

Which IP database are you using btw?

I just like giving people a hard time.

on the flipside though... whoever is missing cities by miles (granted it's got much closer than it used to) just might be missing out on a sale... cause i'm thinking "who gives a fuck about south hadley girls?"

As important as the database is - WHICH IT IS VERY IMPORTANT ... it's NOT a matter of which one.

There are MANY databases you can use - and you don't have to use ours if you don't want to (although ours is damn good) - it's how this this "system" is different!

There's NO programming ... it's NOT a tedious task to generate a TON of geo-targeted graphics at one time and quickly upload them!

After reading the following go and check out the DEMO and see how easy this is to use ... then you'll understand why it's so powerful and SAVES TIME TOO!

There are geo-ip scripts out there, if you take the time and have programming knowledge you might even figure out HOW to get the city to change inside a graphic. Then try to figure out what to do when it doesn't read a city because that IP isn't in a database

Most will find it greatly more cost effective to use our easy, step by step system than to try to implement their own.

Clearly, there is nothing like this on the market.

AGAIN, there's NO PROGRAMMING - a first grader can do this!

Go to http://www.geocise.com and click "LAUNCH PRODUCT DEMO" in the middle underneath the "LOOKING FOR SEXY CAM GIRLS" banner and come back here and post what you think ...please

That might be because your ISP's IP's are tied to Plano for some reason ... not for sure, but a possibility

Just an idea... Rather than it trying to get my suburb in London correct - which they NEVER do - Why no just use "London"?

Im sure most of the bigger cities would have the same problem. AFF show it as London but SexSearch shows St Pancras, and "London" looks much better.

No-one lives in St Pancras BTW - its a train station and a few offices.

That's not such a bad idea BUT for all the places it does get DEAD ON - I don't think it's worth it ... the banners and ads are what need to be a little more loose ie.

Wanna get laid NEAR St Pancras?
Meet hot chicks NEAR St Pancras!
Special offer for surfers NEAR St Pancras!

The objective is to simply catch their eye - surfers in your area MAY RECOGNIZE St Pancras and click.

Of course it would be fantastic to get EVERY city correct and over time the DB gets updated and results improve - but 100% will never happen ... it just can't

I appreciate that, totally!

It's all relative though, and it depends on your volume of business and if a person/company can even afford it.

If I look at the test we ran and monitored with SexSearch, for example - they did 4 times the amount of sales and almost 7 times the amount of profiles using our product ... That was JUST on an exit console test ... i think it's worth it - and these types of results are shown over and over again +/- with every new campaign.

We've seen sales rise as much as 10 times on a campaign ... and never once did results NOT improve EVER over non geo-targeted ads. And never have results been worse. EVERY TEST sees an increase in clicks and sales ... EVERY ONE!

THAT'S VERY STRONG!

Geosice is our "Adult Version". It IS a mainstream product from it's inception

Here are a few "mock ups" for mainstream purposes. I could tell you 30 industries online that could use this technology and there are probably 100.

Please hit me up on ICQ if you have any ideas or contacts in mainstream you think would be interested in utilizing our product.

Yeah me too, it's easily 40 miles off in it's guess with my FIOS. The closest I've seen is the geoip stuff that mayorsmoney is using (~5 miles off)... love to know what database that is.

You guys who keep saying things like "50 miles away" etc, you don't understand the technology... the accuracy of the search has nothing to do with geographical distance.

My database is like a year old now

I understand it exactly... but if I live in Santa Barbara, I'm more likely to click on "Find girls in Santa Barbara" than "Find Girls in Los Angeles". Yes, even "... in Los Angeles" will give me much better results than a banner that just says "Find Sexy Girls!", but why stop there?

OF COURSE IT WILL

But sometimes you HAVE TO stop there - if your ISP's IP's are Los Angeles based NO db is EVER going to say Santa Barbara

Johnathon..thanks again for putting this up at the auction! I know we got the deal of the month if not the year!

For any of those who are wary of the 10k price tag, I have spoken to a number of people I trust who assure me that when this system is used correctly it pays for itself in a couple of months.

The auction check went out today..we are looking forward to getting it up and running!

mine is dead on. i remember when you showed this to me months ago. theres alot more to it thatn people understand. a great tool for sure. they should check out the website and be dazzled at how valuable this tool can be.

the increase in your numbers alone makes it worth it.
