I remember paying around $26K for a "biz system" (not Tandy) that came with a customized desk to fit the *vast* hdd storage unit - all 20 megs worth!!

This was backed up to 8" floppies with a capacity of around 1 meg each.

My first personal was a Radio Shit Trash 80. Ran Visicalc and a mail labelling program. I had a chain of 5.25" floppy drives and no hard drive. It was great.
