.XXX decision delayed again.
As for ".xxx," the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers deferred final approval for the second time in as many months.
The board decided to seek changes to a proposed contract with ICM Registry Inc., the Jupiter, Fla., that would run the domain name for voluntary use by the adult entertainment industry. No details were immediately available on the changes sought. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20050916/...et_pornography |

In this case, delay may be a good thing.
I wonder what the proposed changes include??? Very interesting development... |

Already at least one thread about this... I don't care so long as it's volunteery use of .XXX - there are other ways to protect from children accessing your sites, and non-adults will still be able to access .XXX .... doesn't really make sense, but this is likely their first non-control step, to get towards control, mind you, ICANN is International, not US government based, so if the US government starts to pressure ICANN, and ICANN gives in, I think there would be suits.
