what the hell i fucking hate itunes ... every time i plug in the ipod this damn error message - then "do not disconnect" on the ipod display, although "update is complete" shows on the itunes display ... wtf?

completely uninstall your iPod software and all related files, and re-install it

sounds like something on your computer has corrupted your iPod software.

Never had that problem personally, but it sounds like a good place to start.

I seriously doubt it is iPod or Apple that messed things up though -- their software is fucking tight! (and I am a windows guy through and true!)

thanks ff ... im hoping someone who has had (and solved) this same problem will advise also ...

the strange thing is, it works fine ... but i still get the error.

i believe itunes is potentially good software im just too stupid to fix problems like this on my own ;)
