Rebuilding NO
Do they have an estimate as to how much its going to cost to rebuild? Something around 100 billion? And what are they going to do now to make sure that when something like this happens again the damage isnt so bad?

Whether you like the city or not, it is home for many people. If we're not going to help rebuild the city then I think it's important that we stand up for the people who are displaced and help them get back to a place where they can be supportive.
I've heard a lot of negativity from other on the topic of New Orleans and whether or not it makes sense financially to rebuild. Our country has gone through tough times but if we abandon this city and these people it sets a bad precedent that puts the rest of our nation in jeopardy. |

Bush dropped the minimum wage requirements so that companies could exploit cheap labor.
The admin also signed off on no bid contracts allowed. So far 52 contracts have been awarded without any bidding out of 110. One guess which company has gotten the biggest no bid contracts so far. Starts with an H. This is corporate vulturing at its finest.
