Whether you like the city or not, it is home for many people. If we're not going to help rebuild the city then I think it's important that we stand up for the people who are displaced and help them get back to a place where they can be supportive.

I've heard a lot of negativity from other on the topic of New Orleans and whether or not it makes sense financially to rebuild.

Our country has gone through tough times but if we abandon this city and these people it sets a bad precedent that puts the rest of our nation in jeopardy.
