There is a difference between censorship and hate/diffamation threads.

This is a private board, Lensman can delete/ban/kickass everyone if he wants to.

1st amendment or your censorship battle won't protect ANYONE here. This is not a governement/constitution issue.

Example 1 :

I create a thread claiming that someone is a pedophile.

I get banned, they close the thread.

Is it censorship? No. It's a diffammation thread.

Example 2 :

I start a thread "Happy September 11th everyone!".

My main goal is to attack everyone using a sarcastic approach (We all know 9/11 is not holiday or a celebration). I know people will get upset, but I still do it.

Now, what if I get banned. Do you really think that censorship was involved? NO. Just because this board is called "Go Fuck Yourself", does not give me the right to start CP threads, pedophile accusations or laughing about innocent people who died from a terrorist attack.

Stop acting like you can say everything on this board. Some lines should not be crossed.

You're right that freedom of speech offers no protection to Nofx, or anybody else, in regards to a private board. However, when you start removing things you find objectionable, you are practicing censorship.
