Oh, that's right...you're absolutely right. Since he's a millionaire he's always right, and since he's the President, he's always right.

Millionaires are always right, cause it's very difficult to be a millionaire.

Presidents are always right, cause it's very difficult to be President.

And rich daddies that are connected NEVER help their kids get shit, right?

LOL ... where can I read this at?
what legit publication has posted this?

Bush on the other hand is mkaing sure his "friends" are prifiting off Iraq.
this is a fact and was investigated by the GAO. SO when you try to state who is profiting off the blood of others make sure you put Bush in there also. Bush was scared to go to war himself but he is awful tough when its time to send others.

Invading iraq overall was not a bad thing, how bush went about it, to stretch it out so he and his friends could profit off it is the problem - oh ya and the lies, why all the lies, if it was worth doing then it was worth telling the truth about why we invaded.

Bush had a 90% approval rating after 9/11
It is now down to 38%.
People gave him the benefit of the doubt for a long time, but are finally smartening up. Better late than never.

Michael Moore, talk about irrelevant.

I wonder if during the next election he'll be passing underware out to hippy children while adults vote in the Republicans again? Good work Mike, keep it up.

Bush just knows how to appoint the right people.

First a dude that ran horsey shows for FEMA.

Then Porter Goss for CIA director, who even admitted that he wasnt qualified for even being in the CIA, let alone running it.

I couldn't get a job with CIA today. I am not qualified. I don't have the language skills. I, you know, my language skills were romance languages and stuff. We're looking for Arabists today. I don't have the cultural background probably. And I certainly don't have the technical skills, uh, as my children remind me every day, "Dad you got to get better on your computer." Uh, so, the things that you need to have, I don't have.

Heres the Video

Love him or hate him. Believe his message or not. Michael Moore has every right to say what he does and make us all feel uncomfortable for not being more compassionate, thoughtful, and holding ALL politicians accountable.

He blindsides Bush and the Republicans because they are such a easy targets, as was General Motors and the Columbine Shootings. Whether we agree or not, we should listen, critically examine his argument, and if found valid, take appropriate action.

To do otherwise is to undervalue and not live up to our responsibilities as an American citizens. Blindly quoting conservative or liberal scripture shows a lack of understanding of the issues at hand. Don't let political hacks do your thinking, take the initiative and be your own person. The world is not black & white.

I never had his father or family history.

I've never called him an idiot. I don't care how big your legacy is... to pass yale and harvard with a c average is still pretty damn good.

Just as there are people who believe the Holocaust didn't really happen, there are people who believe just 5 years later that y2k was a fraud. There are people who find it easier to forget than accept facts and this is prevalent on both sides. Conservatives (I'm one) forget how nice things actually were under Clinton. Liberals forget how the 80's were the time of wealth for a whole new breed of entrepreneur that could come from any social background. We mark the Good Times or the Bad Times based on who was in power rather than how we were doing personally.
I meant it more in the context of normal people flipping out and stockpiling potted meat and ammunition. Anyone who knows anything about computers knew it wasn't going to be as big a deal as the media made it out to be. I'm not saying it was a fraud, but i do remember a short on the Daily Show about jury duty in some small hick town being messed up by saying 1900 instead of 2000.

Have the big bad tewwowists left from under you beddy by bed?

Did that civil rights friendly legislation known as the patriot act make you feel more patriotic and secure?

How about new government agencies like The Homeland Security Dept. Aren't you glad they were around to speed up the recovery efforts after Katrina?

After 4 years it's all a failure. Nothing they said they were doing for you, "us," worked out.

And you can't see that. That's just sad.

I am sorry did i miss the news story since 9/11 how many terrorists have hijacked planes and rammed them into buildings.

People that voted for Bush TWICE should be shot for treason. Doing harm to America is treason, subject to the death penalty. Not to sound cold but anyone that support Bush that had someone die in Iraq or New Orelans or died themselves I don't have any pity for. I mean you got what you wanted right? Why feel sorry for somebody who got what they wanted. Like the old saying says "careful what you wish for you may get it" and guess what you have. Like republicans like to say 'You have to deal with the consquences of your actions yourself"

How many planes got rammed into buildings with Clinton as President?

Of course Georgie got totally blindsided. No threat on the horizon when 9-11 happened!

um Bush quote 2003 "We cannot guarantee there will not be another terrorist attack on American soil."

So they instituted the TERRORIST WARNING SYSTEM with elevated levels on any given day.

Guess it worked in making you feel safer sucker

HIGHEST record deficit in U.S. history

HIGHEST number of vacation days of any president in U.S. history
(and still 3 more years to his term)

LOWEST world currency value in over 30 years

7 DAYS for the government to come to town while Americans die in a natural disaster

This seems pretty straight forward. I'm not conservative. I enjoyed much wealth under Clinton, and I thought Reagan was great too.

Thanks for actually thinking. I'm trying to.

We need more people like Michael Moore. Not because of the points of view that he represents, but because he succeeds in making millions of people think about topics that usually only get their attention in the event of a hurricane, a terrorist attack, or school killings.

I don't care which part of the political spectrum you represent, you cannot in all seriousness argue that our country, our world for that matter, could not be vastly better than it is. The barrier to progress is not that the Republicans and their friends have their snouts deep in the trough, nor that the Democrats might destroy the American way of life by turning the US into a giant welfare state. The real barrier is apathy: not only the obvious disinterest in the political process of those who do not even vote; but the superficiality of those who claim to have an opinion.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the United States had the highest job-related fatality rate of any industrialized nation. Most workers worked 10-12 hours a day but earned up to 40% less than the minimum deemed necessary for a decent life. The number of children in the work force had doubled during the closing decades of the 19th century.

An hundred years later, in many respects the picture isn't a whole lot better, yet the Republicans are busy striking down what remains of the labor and anti-trust legislation that was created back then. Approve or disapprove, no-one voted for them to do that because it wasn't part of their election platform. Instead, people voted to express their disapproval of abortion or their support for the war in Iraq. And if such legislation were being proposed today, it would surely be decried as socialist or left-wing or at the very least, liberal, yet most of that legislation was created under Republican presidents.

The fundamental difference between then and now is that presidents such as Roosevelt existed in a society exposed to writers like Mark Twain and later to such as Upton Sinclair, Theodore Dreiser and Lincoln Steffens. Daily newspapers and popular magazines carried incisive articles about trusts, finance, impure foods and abusive railroad practices: not the pap which today's media feeds us. Thus farmers whose grandchildren are today voting Republican, belonged to militant organisations and Kansas City had a branch of the Socialist Party big enough to produce its own newspaper.

However, the specifics are not the point. The point is that we had a thriving democracy which in turn meant we had reform, genuine reform going on in full public view. Today we live in a society which throws around terms like "left" and "right" without understanding what they mean, and with even less idea as to what its government - Republican or Democrat - is actually doing.

Worse, much worse, is most of us don't care and that above all is why we need Michael Moore and others like him, no matter what position they represent.

"Bush is an idiot, a moron, corrupt, the worst president that has ever led this country, <enter your rant here>"

All truths go through 3-phases:

1. It is ridiculed
2. It is violently opposed
3. It is accepted as self-evident.

Good to see the Bushies have made it to phase 2 -- it will just be one more little "test" to the Bush administration before all the Bushies are in force on the board saying, "yup, been telling you for years the man is a clueless chimp -- a total moron -- more corrupt than a Russian Diplomat -- the one who has destroyed the ONCE greatest nation in the world."

I'd be willing to bet it will be before the end of the year

My question is simple and I would love and intelligent response from any U.S. citizen who voted for Bush in this past election.

Are you happy with Bush as president. If so, why? What has he done during his term of office that is positive?

God damn that American President!

While you made some valid points, you're somehow ignoring how economies work. The next Democratic President with a defecit will have guess what? Ready for this? The highest defecit in US History! Amazing?!?
