10 Hour Flight - What do you take for entertainment?

Heading to Amsterdam, taking the PSP with a bunch of batteries and 6 movies, plus a small MP3 player. What about you?

Definitely a good book, but movies are great too for when you want to take a break.

Good book, but if the movie selection is good I don't get to read much.

Those personal movie players they give you are good.

A book or two, and my laptop with a few games on it.

For my boys.. it would be the PSPs with movies and games.

Entertainment - depends on what airline

Singapore Airlines has a fantastic setup - tons of Movies, Games, great looking girls - etc..

Usually - good notebook, some movies, a drink or 2, and a good 3-4 hour crash to be fresh for the new location.

I assume you'll be traveling first class, so you'll eat really good food, read a bit and then lie down flat and have a little snooze so you'll be fresh when you wake up for another really good meal. Most of the better airlines have broadband, so you could check your stats and then it will be time to land.

if you're flying first class more often than not you will get a personal TV with on demand DVD's etc.... many business classes have this also for long flights...

i usually try to sleep in lie of keeping myself entertained, or i watch a couple movies, then take a nap... also sometimes i fire up the laptop if there's some good 'thinking' work that requires deep thought to be done... its a great time to do that sort of stuff... i also bring a book and some magazines...

the best bet is to take a sleep pill and sleep most of the way though

A PSP would be nice, never travelled with one.

I always try to sit at a window seat with an MP3 player. I also make sure that I have enough pocket change to have a drink in my hand at all times during the flight. Make sure you got some magazines to read, cuz music just won't cut it. But you got a PSP, so that should make things much better.

Have fun in Amsterdam.

KLM F has a wide selection of VOD with all the latest movies... don't worry about taking your own. Drink spirits, not beer, and make good use of the BED (seat)

I have a PSP, a Nintendo DS, a Gameboy Advance (for older games that won't play on the DS), magazines, a book, and maybe some music. I'm all stocked up on PSP movies for my next flight or road trip. It's the only time I use my portables. I've got American Pie Unrated, Labyrinth, Godsmack Live, Terminator 2, and Punisher I haven't watched yet (at least in UMD format) plus a couple games I haven't played yet. For Nintendo DS I've got a stack of games I haven't played yet. PSP has the better graphics but DS definitely has better games right now and more of them.
