I understand that many of you think guns should be banned. Here is the reason why we americans dont want to see this happen. The fact that guns were invented, combined with crime, means that there will ALWAYS be guns in america. To eradicate all legally owned guns means that criminals will be the only ones with guns. I love to shoot my guns, and have obtained very intense tactical training with them. If guns didnt exist, the world would be safer yes, but they do exist. So why make yourself willing prey to those who ILLEGALLY have guns??? ALSO, the people who have ccw permits are among the most responsible people you will ever meet.

If I could snap my fingers and make every gun in the US disappear right now, along with totally control all importation of guns, I would do so. Even though I love shooting at the range, I'd make that sacrifice for a safer world, no question.

Unfortunately, as you pointed out, that scenario isn't realistic in the least, and much like our control of drugs, and illegal immigrants, criminals would have no trouble arming themselves while the rest of us were defenseless. There can never be gun control in the US, it's literally impossible.

Yep, as much fun as I have shooting, I agree the world would be a little safer without them. But the black market makes it impossible to ban 'em, that being the case, I will always be with my guns. And I will always seek to train to be better than the badguys. ;)

i love guns.. i collect guns. i like antique guns.. i like black powder.
i have an old kentucky percussion .44 cal 57" w/41" octagon barrel, made in italy
i have a 1866manhattan arms single shot .44 derringer type pocket pistol
& an 1861 whitney .36 cal revolver & stevens 1891 .22

that's it for the guns... the rest of my collection is powder cans, ammo boxes, shotshell boxes, cartridge boxes, misc advertising etc, etc.....
cant wait til fall tukey shoots

Some help in getting ahead of the 'badguys'. been to these schools. they are the real deal. More fun than you should be allowed to have. It was awesome stuff.

I recently checked out enrolling in a tactical defense class at smith & wesson in springfield, mass.. i was there to enroll for the required pistol safety course for handgun permits, but then i moved to connecticut & the law is a bit different so instead of a regular permit to carry i ended up with permit to carry concealed?? gunlaws are wierd.. mass requires unloaded in a locked box, or in holster in plain site.., connecticut requres holstered & concealed or in locked box but??? the shooting club i go to in westfield has machine gun shoots a few times a year--OH MY FUCKING GOD!!!!! what a fucking blast.. i dont have one, i cant get one, but somebody else let me try theirs & i wanted to take it home..

just figured i mention this cuz i clicked your links.. the tdohio one is similar to the one at smith&wesson

yeah, the laws can be really confusing. You should look into the knobcreek machinegun shoot. It's held every year in knob creek kentucky. You can go there and rent mini guns, flamethrowers, grenade launchers, all kinds of cool stuff. I've never been myself but i've seen video. It looks like a blast.

i'm waiting on batf to give me my class 03 so i can start collecting pre-ban wwII high cap & stuff.... i'm not too into modern stuff as far as owning goes as far as cartidge goes i like stuff like krag 30-06, springfields, arisaka, mosin nagant.. i like to collect military arms earlier then wwII but am now planning on getting into the wwII stuff since it's becoming more scarce... i just started this as a hobby a little less than a year ago & it's become a fascination & obsession.. tons of great books out there on arms of all sorts.. i never pass up a great book when i see one.. i got this great big coffee table book on guns at a chain bookstore for $5 & has tons of info & pics etc...anyway, i'm rambling..... I just told my wife i'm gonna go to kentucky to blow stuff up, she's like "what the fuck you talking about"
