And I remember now, why I stopped promoting them.

I just followed my stats all the way back to 08-18-03 and seen that from the hundreds of hits that they counted (not sure how many I sent or why) maybe a few ever seen the Join pages. I vaguely remember the time I was pushing them my hardest, or if there even was a time I "pushed" them.

I was interested in maybe putting up some links, probably FHG's since I figure why not, I have extremepaychecks FHG's still in my db. and afterall I did put a link in my blog to promote their ringtone site. (which has counted less than half dozen hits - again not too sure how many I sent them, but that is what they counted.)

I also come to realise that I have 2 accounts, which I would like to have "merged" if possible. There is a problem though. I believe one of them was under the revsharehosting referral (which I enjoyed being part of, glad to see them accepting new accounts these days). so it would be difficult.

I am not sure if I should start promoting them again, if I did I would have way more traffic to send them than before... this is where my problem comes in.

If I sent small ammounts of traffic and they only reported oh I dunno, say 10% of the hits (and that is generous since I believe it may have been 5% or so) then what happens when I start sending them larger ammounts?

On a related note. Whatever happened to sponsors allowing a couple of the sales actually get reported in a new webmasters stats at least for the first few weeks. I used to love signing up to sponsors send a few thousand hits get a paycheck and then nothing... ever... again...

BTW Epiccash, since you will be reading this, can you merge my accounts, and give me a detailed report of my stats from the beginning of both accounts, and maybe a few words to help convince me to put my epiccash links back up.

I am not incinuating that EC shaves, it is common knowledge these days.

and the rest of you... I know, I know...

Sponsors don't shave traffic, just signups.

Solid Gold Mobile linkcodes redirect to your EpicCams linkcode... that site is currently being redirected until some things are adjusted on it... therefore its being redirected to YOUR cams linkcode.

Exactly why I threw in my little disclaimer... no proof. Just good ol word of mouth. I never expected it to be ALL of the problem, just SOME of the problem. I am doing some stuff with EC now myself. I have had some great conversions in the past. 1 time, I actually had a 1 in 1. or 2 in 2 how ever you want to see it. It was 2 raw, 2 unique, and 2 signs.

500 plus is all they ever counted from me. I may not remember the whole industry as I seen it in 2003 as of right now, but I do remember that I stopped sending traffic because they were not converting for me... when trying to make light of it all, I noticed I was sending WAY more than what was being reported as RAW.

This was a serious thread about why I should give them a second chance. I wanted to see how many would chime in and give me YAYS and NAYS but seems most people lately are the same way I was back then... dunno why I am sending traffic, but I am.

Anyway, nice change of character after you got a look at the stats from both my accounts. The 2 together don't equal 1k I don't imagine.

Anyway. p1mpdog is telling me to take them down, when they have been down (aside from a few links to epiccams and the ringtone site)

What is up fellas? Afraid I will only send another 1k in the next 2 years?
I just wanted to see if things have changed much since then, or if my stats will still only show 10% of what I send.

Looks like you were mainly sending to hosted gals, hits are counted when they hit the tour. Its 2 years later and you are stressing about the few hundred clicks you sent back then... if you think hits are not being counted properly use a outlink counter or just keep hitting your links yourself.

Regarding epiccash their niche sites always converted well for me when sending traffic. Especially considering that the counting of raw hits to tour page seemed very accurate. (which was quite unusual back then)

Yesterday QuickBuck threw a 24 hour promo for $100 per signup... I hurried to throw up some links. So I figured fuck. P1mpdog told me take links down, so I will put more up. That is how it's done at EpicCash right?

Well I wake this morning to see I have sent 50 uniques to Quickbuck and NOTHING has gone to EPICcams which was ABOVE the Quickbuck FPA.

I decided to click through all the way to the join page, hours later still nothing.

I hurried to throw up some links. So I figured fuck. P1mpdog told me take links down, so I will put more up. That is how it's done at EpicCash right? Well I wake this morning to see I have sent 50 uniques to Quickbuck and NOTHING has gone to EPICcams which was ABOVE the Quickbuck FPA. I decided to click through all the way to the join page, hours later still nothing. 2getit I will be in touch, maybe not today, but soon. I have added you to my ICQ. And good luck to those of you that make the sales for todays promo at Quickbuck. With only 50 uniques in the last 12 hours, I doubt I will be getting the raised payout, but even if I get a few sales after the promo I will be happy I threw up the ads. EPICcams on the other hand....
