You know what I love about this country? We have the right to our opinions and say what we want to say...even if it's unpopular...sure, those rights are slowly being whittled away, but I still wouldn't trade it for anywhere else...hell I was a bit of a dual resident of Canda and really enjoyed the country, but it's just not the same.

What many Europeans dont understand is that most Americans work very long hours. The middle class American often works 6 days a week and 12 hours per day. When we get home after a long we day we dont give a shit about Europe. Conversations regarding Europe never even happen outside the internet. Conversations regarding Europe never even happen outside the internet. We just dont care and I think that insults Europeans more than anything. I dont know who your president is and I dont want to. I cant put your president down cause I dont care to know about him. Get the idea ?

waste Confirmed User Join Date: Nov 2001 Location: Baltimore Posts: 770	you know alot of people talk shit about america for no real reason just to do it. but honestly think about it even our citizens should think about this aswell. what if (and this is purely hypothetical) America just up and decided to drop out og the UN killed the free trade act and cut all foriegn aid. would all the other countries hate us more or decide to kiss our asses more? The US has all the natural resources it needs it is just cheaper to get them for other countries the US is very capable of surviving without any help whatsoever. so next time you think about badmouthing the US and it's system maybe you should consider what would happen if our next president took all of this attitude into consideration? just something to think about.

Not just the US. And lets not forget that the americans are actually european settlers ;-) Political conflicts between Europe and the US is nothing new. P.

Fact is that the ALLIED forces won and Germany and its friends (Italy for example) lost. P.

Its easy to criticise the most known country in the world and its government. I dont even know who the president is of many smaller nations on this small round piece of rock. P.
