What many Europeans dont understand is that most Americans work very long hours. The middle class American often works 6 days a week and 12 hours per day. When we get home after a long we day we dont give a shit about Europe. Conversations regarding Europe never even happen outside the internet. actually i think F.D.R. was one of our best presidents ever he followed Washington's teachings and decided not to get involved in foriegn wars, he waited until the US was attacked, and whats wrong with that alot of countries in that time acted in the same manner.

but the US did contribute alot when we got involved. forgetting about D-Day are we?

Australia, The United Kingdom, Canada and The United States of America together fought against Germany and so did many other smaller countries.

WW2 was a very complicated war, thats why people have extremely different views as to what happened.

Fact is that the ALLIED forces won and Germany and its friends (Italy for example) lost.

that is not what many americans are claim we are saying that we took alot of losses and our country was not really that powerful before WW2. That is why it was a big deal that we did so much and alot of people won't admit it but russia saved alot of asses in that war too.

but times change and now nobody gives a shit about Russia and few people give a shit about the US.

we are just looking for some fucking gratitude here is that so hard to give we just want someone to say thanks for helping us out and stop bullshit talk just like this thread started out about how american's and thier presidents are stupid, it may be true that some of our citizens and even people in power right now aren't the brightest of america but thats what this country is about we know we have flaws but regardless we overcome them and take whoever is talking shit and show them we can do better and probably even better job then they can.

why? because we (most of us) actually fucking care. it would be much better if people would actually support us so we can overcome these problems but right now we are getting things done just because people say we can't.
