you don't start threads that say

How good is is to be Canadian:

NO EARTHQUAKES
NO TSUNAMIS
NO HURRICANES
blah blah...

at the time when another country (that is far from being your enemy btw) suffers from one of the biggest natural disasters in it's hostory. PERIOD.

do you think I wouldn't write the same if something bad happened in canada and some american started a thread entiteled "How good it is to be an American - no deadly earthquakes" or whatever....

I think it's generally stupid to start threads like this when someone is down... and it's not even political... it's a god damn NATURAL DISASTER! It's gotta take a real idiot without any feelings to start a thread like this.

If an American moron started a similar thread, you would be kissing his ass or not saying anything at all. :2 cents:

It's fabulous. I love being Canadian.

I guess the Canandians already forgot about the 1998 ice storm that cost over 4 billion dollars and the most recent natural disaster in 2001?02 drought that cost over $5 billion.

So either the canadians are dick deep in snow and ice, freezing to death 4-5 months out of the year or their is no water to irrigate their prairies.

I think I'll stay in San Diego and deal with the earthquakes, fires and mudslides....LOL

Point is, there is not one place on earth where we are not vulnerable to natural disasters. The only thing we can do is be prepared and listen when officials tell us to leave.
