$14K For A Robot To Watch Your House?

http://www.breitbart.com/news/2005/08/29/D8C9J6881.html

Japanese Mitsubishi has announced for sale a new robot that can do lots of stuff. Goes on sale in a week or so. $14k price tag. Would you buy one?

When they can make robots that look like Marilyn Monroe I'll get interested.

Holy fuck. That's definitely the version they're marketing towards Japanese people... too futuristic for me / North America I think.

The Japanese are robot crazy. They LOVE robots. There are alot of robot toys out that look better than this.

As processor power and sizes modify you'll see more issues of varying types.

People want robots to do labor or to have sex. Read some of the good sci-fi from the 40s and 50s about robots.

btw the word Robot is slavic for 'slave'.

You could probably mount a fleshlight on the backend and make it pickup things.
