Thats what I was wondering. I was under the assumption the models had to be sober when signing a contract.

On the other hand, can a model sign a contract and then get drunk during the shoot?

They do, and of course she can.

Heres some info: The average time between signing and the shoot is two weeks. (at least the way WE do it)

It's not like we're cruising around picking up hookers in a van.

It doesn't matter how many people (you claim) witnessed the model release.

The judge will simply ask why you didn't just put the "shoot" off until she was of sound mind. Shooting someone who is clearly incapacitated is never a good thing and is often prosecuted. No matter what the ?witnesses? say happened before the shoot, everyone can see that she is clearly not coherent at the time you shot the pictures.

Especially YOU (the photographer) should have realized that she was drunk and nothing you have said will justify why you shot her in that state.
