that's not the point...the main point is/was the wording of the ad...he's since amended it, but before then it was misleading...it still is IMHO, but it's his choice...

if you were to release a product to the public in a store and the ads for the product were misleading, you'd be in deep shit with the FTC...so the wording of an ad DOES make a difference and that was the main point raised...

did some of the answers get smart allecky? sure, the title of the board afterall is gofuckyourself...and if someone's skin is so thin that a couple smart asses cause them to go nuts, well, they may well be in the wrong business...
