Hi,
I want to signup for some cc processor for my small paysite i want to open. Now I'm only 18, i been reading ccbills terms and conditions and they state that I have to be 21 if order to signup. If i'll signup and i'm 18 will it cause any problems or complications ? Also which are good companies out there becides ibil or ccbil? ...do i need anything else do to for signing up with cc processor and start billing people (ie. like register a company or some shit?) and lastly from those companies which allow 18 year old peaple to sign up... Thanks alot for the help... |

If you really want to run a business like, well, a business you really should create a LLC. Maybe get a partner or two. If it's gonna be a *really* small paysite you could always use PayPal's online subscription service. |

No, you don't have to if you don't want to, you can be self employeed and never have a real business setup. Some people say it is better, some say it isn't. Get a book and read up on it is the only way to know for sure. As well having a business kinda protects you from personal law suits in some way or another. Again a book would be the best way to start to get info on that or ask a lawyer
![]() As for CC processing you dont need your own merchant account, you can use CCbill/Ibill/GLobill whoever you want and it uses their merchant account. They make their money from charging you 15% (or so) per transaction. I think places like ynotmasters.com and adultnetsurprise.com have tons of information about cc processors and such as well as setting up your own business. Hope this helps, TheDoc |
