switching a paysite from dollars to euros, opinions needed..
hey all, as it has recently become an option w/ my processors to charge for signups in euros i have been seriously thinking about switching over from the dollar... but am hesitant to make the switchover after all this time. would be great to get some opinions from other paysite owners...
i currently charge $29.95 USD for access, can i get away w/ charging new customers $29.95 EURO? should i switch to euros but w/ a somewhat lower price? my customer base is very mixed, i currently have about 35% american, 35% european and 30% asian... any input would be great, i'd love to watch those euros convert over to dollars in my wires if the current exchange stays stable or rises further..!

a) where's u'r primary consumer market ? if it's nth americans, or even if they make up the larger % os u'r consumers u may be shooting u'rself in the foot IMHO as they like to see everything in USD and the rest of the world is typiclally more accepting of doing the mental conversion.
b) as for 'how much' to convert the product into Euro's ... the Big Mac index is u'r answer  |

So if you're US buyers drop by 50% would you be happy with the increase in per member revenue across the board?

sorry just saw u'r percentage break down ... why not offer *both* euro's and usd and switch it in dynamically depending on the user ? ... Verotel has a pretty good solution for this
