Some Baseball Bets
Don't know if anyone of you are betting, but here are some plays from my source (professionalgambler.com) for today:
ANGELS -1.5 +144 at Orioles (Colon-Bedard) The Angels and Colon figure to be a strong play for us, partly due to the huge difference in current batting stats (according to our formulas), but also due to the difference in pitchers. The Angels allowed 46 hits in Colon's last 5 starts, which is about average, but they got a whopping 64 hits of their own in those 5 games. The Orioles allowed 50 hits in Bedard's last 5 starts and got 50 hits of their own. Over the last 10 sequential games Anaheim got 10.9 hits per 9 innings at bat while Baltimore got 7.9 hits per 9 innings. We're expecting Anaheim to get at least 4 more hits than Baltimore in this game, and probably more than that. TIGERS -1.5 +157 over Athletics (Bonderman-Saarloos) There was a time when Oakland had the best batting stats in either league (according to us), but that was then and this is now. Oakland's bats have disintegrated to being among the worst in the league. In their latest 10 outings the Athletics got 6.7 hits per 9 innings at bat. (The average American League team gets 9.4 hits per 9 innings at bat.) Meanwhile, the Tigers have come from nowhere to getting 10.5 hits per 9 innings. Then compare Bonderman's recent performances with Saarloos' recent performances, and we have a strong play here with Detroit. METS -1.5 +128 at Diamondbacks (Seo-Ortiz) We can't find any part of the Diamondbacks that's as good as any part of the Mets at this time. We expected New York (and Seo) to be maybe -160 or -170 on the moneyline here. We think these posted odds of -128 on the moneyline are offering very good value, and we like the runline odds even better. Reds at Nationals OVER 8.0 -103 (list any pitchers) (no text) TWINS +120 over Whitesox (action-Buehrle) (no text) Anyone agree with the dude? |
