may I suggest tying one end of a rope to an anvil, the other end of the rope to your ankle, standing on the golden gate bridge, then tossing the anvil off?

You need to buy a large mailing list from an old credit card processor and SPAM.

You can claim they are "opt-in".
Have a site ready with the opt-in form, and a remove-me form so that you can "prove" you're legit.
