Good System Restore Utility for Windows Servers........
Something that will take a image or whatever and if the server OS takes a shit I can remotely restore shit back to original state. Windows 2003 btw.

We use RIS ( Remote Instalation Service ) and its a build-in tool in microsofts servers since win2000. ITs not easy to set up, if you want to do a regular update, because then you have to keep running a reg update + full backup.
I instead would reccommed you get a Veritas BackupExec Licens with the "disaster revocery" option (its a addon) Use that to take your daily backups, and you can actially make a full restore ower the LAN or directly from the take unit. Also, if you run a Mysql/sql you would need the "advance openfile option" - its another addin, to take live backups of databases. In version 10.0 the sql addon is included in "advance openfile option" but before verison 9, its another addon http://www.veritas.com/Products/www?c=product&refId=57 <- Download a full 90 day trial |
