Anyone knows how to split Video Files?
I have bought a 400 mb avi movie and I want to break it down into small pieces... Do you have any suggestions to which software I should use??? I don't want any fxsplit or anything, I just want to divide the big chunk into multi smaller pieces.

You want a free program or do you want to spend a little money?
I can not suggest any free stuff but for about 100 bux you can get Studio DV and it will do a fine job. There is a lot of shit out there and I have tried most of it but the lightspeed crew was kind enough to show me a few things with Studio DV and it went very fast and easy so I bought it and have been quite happy. Thanks to Chris at Lightspeed for showing me this cool little program. |

I use Adobe Premier 6.0 for all my video edits. It works great. But it is quite expensive.
