Anyone knows how to split Video Files?

I have bought a 400 mb avi movie and I want to break it down into small pieces... Do you have any suggestions to which software I should use??? I don't want any fxsplit or anything, I just want to divide the big chunk into multi smaller pieces.

You want a free program or do you want to spend a little money?

I can not suggest any free stuff but for about 100 bux you can get Studio DV and it will do a fine job. There is a lot of shit out there and I have tried most of it but the lightspeed crew was kind enough to show me a few things with Studio DV and it went very fast and easy so I bought it and have been quite happy. Thanks to Chris at Lightspeed for showing me this cool little program.

I use Adobe Premier 6.0 for all my video edits. It works great. But it is quite expensive.

I use MS Paint, it rules, it has the best compression known to man....

Thankx... It doesn't matter, either free or pay.
Adobe Premiere??? So that program can split up your large avi file into little pieces?

Yeah, and it can do a lot more than that. I have had it for about 2 years now. I open it up, look at it, scratch my head in wonder, and close it again. I have seen some cool shit done with it but I do not have the required time it would take to learn how to do jack with it. Stupid me even bought the upgrade. :(
