Hey guys, I was stumbling around the Quicktime Movie Trailer site and I stumbled across this - http://www.apple.com/trailers/newline/jason_x.html

It's the new Friday The 13th Part 10 trailer. Talk about a FUCKING lame storyline there. They find him in the future and bring him into space, he comes back to life, kicks some ass, gets a high tech makeover, and kicks more ass.

I don't know about you, but I think that it's getting a little carried away there. It looks kinda stupid rather than cool. I would rather have seen Jason fighting Freddy Kruger, like they once talked about long ago, that'd be a fucking battle, he he he.

I got a chance to ead an early draft of the script and it wasn't that bad. hen I heard the idea of Jason In Space, I was like "whafuck?" but loosened up a bit after reading the early draft.

I've heard from people who've seen test screenings and rough cuts (there are hardcore F13 fans mind you) and they enjoyed it.

Sadly, the movie is caught up in distributor hell and keeps getting pushed back..it was supposed to open in Septmber of last year and then got pushed to November, then February and now looks like April, if then...

I'm actually looking forward to Jason returning to what he does best...and of course with Kane Hodder behind the makeup...it was also shot entirely on digital video, so I can't wait to see how that turned out...

Freddy vs. Jason is total blasphemy...I was so fucking pissed at the end of Jason Goes To Hell with the Freddy teaser....the two exist on two different planes...it just doesn't work for me, although I did get ready a quickie script (that was turned down sadly) that was pretty good...involving the origins of the spirit within jason and the origins of Freddy and his ancestory...

ok, yes, I'm a horror movie geek ;)

Hey, I hear a huge chunk of Halloween 8 was shot on webcam, sounds very intriguing...

i think jason in space sounds a bit fucked, it has already been done as a comical sketch on mad t.v.

but freddy vs jason that a wole different ball game or in this case a wole different blood bath.
but we all know who would win! it would be freddy, jasons so called powers could never deffeat freddys, jason is nothing but a psychological deranged version of frankenstiens monster.
where freddy sold his sole to the dream masters who gave him unlimidted power, so freddy would kill jason off in the first 5 minuets but then jason would most likely come back to life.

this could be the start of a beautiful massacre...

Yeah normally guys named Jason are big pussies, but Mr. Vorhees made the name kind of kewl...

I'm a big Pinhead fan too (hell, I enjoy all the Cenobites), I was in Boston a couple years ago for a Fangoria Weekend Of Horror convention and was sitting in the hotel restaurant which was crowded as hell and someone asked if I minded if they sat in the empty seat across from me...I turned around and about shit myself...it was Doug Bradley (who plays Pinhead) I was speechless (a major feat for me ;)) He even ended up picking up the breakfast tab...I was trying to hard not to geek out...

As long as it has that creppy F13 music, it will scare me. Freddy vs. Jason will probably be filled someday. Wes Craven is a bit busy with other projects at the moment.

yeah Manfredi's score is a very strng part of the F13 series....
I know both Kane Hodder and Robert Englund are attached to star in a Freddy vs. Jason movie, but it's been in development hell for awhile...

I actually got a kick out of the flick "The Killer Tnogue" starring the super hot Mindy Clarke from Return Of The Living Dead 3, Robert Englund and Doug Bradley...Robert Englund and Doug Bradley shared a scene where Englud tells Bradley "I love you better without the makeup" I was laughing my ass off but my wife didn't get it, so I had to explain it to her...

I saw Jason 10... it was great. Of course it was retarded... terrible acting, bad story, ridiculously bad effects... but do people watch Friday 13th movies for quality? If you are, then I think you've missed the point.

This movie also makes a bit of fun of itself... if you see it, just watch for the naked women having premarital sex... pretty funny.

Also, David Cronenberg made a cameo at the beginning.

, but as far as the whole freddy VS jason deal....they are going to do it, I was reading an article on yahoo that did say they where going to have the original actors from both movies play the characters...

Although I have to say that the one scene from the movie:
"Don't worry guys it's ok....he just wanted his machettie back"
was rather funny..

Wow! I didn't laugh this hard in a long time... it has to be a parody!! At first I didn't beleive it was a real movie... I thought my boyfriend was kidding!

That is one movie I will not spend time or money on!

Yeah the Hellraiser movies are my absolute favourites(except 5 not enough pinhead :D )

But I must admit that Mr Craven pleasantly suprised me with Dracula 2000

It has some original twists a horror freak like me sure can appreciate ;)

Jason 10 definitely doesn't take itself seriously. Maybe I'm strange, but I had a good time watching it.

Jason vs Freddy doesn't interest me, though.

Hellraiser 1 and 2 were some of the best horror movies ever made... 3 and 5 sucked ass. 4 was ok.

The first was the best because it was written and directed by Clive Barker... the best horror writer there is.
