I got a chance to ead an early draft of the script and it wasn't that bad. hen I heard the idea of Jason In Space, I was like "whafuck?" but loosened up a bit after reading the early draft.
I've heard from people who've seen test screenings and rough cuts (there are hardcore F13 fans mind you) and they enjoyed it.
Sadly, the movie is caught up in distributor hell and keeps getting pushed back..it was supposed to open in Septmber of last year and then got pushed to November, then February and now looks like April, if then...
I'm actually looking forward to Jason returning to what he does best...and of course with Kane Hodder behind the makeup...it was also shot entirely on digital video, so I can't wait to see how that turned out...
Freddy vs. Jason is total blasphemy...I was so fucking pissed at the end of Jason Goes To Hell with the Freddy teaser....the two exist on two different planes...it just doesn't work for me, although I did get ready a quickie script (that was turned down sadly) that was pretty good...involving the origins of the spirit within jason and the origins of Freddy and his ancestory...
