Well at leas t ISKCON set up a Child Protection Office - I severly doubt that if leaders had knwon about this going on that they would have covered it - ISKCOJ is very quick to keep to their principals as set for in the shastras (scriptures)

The Catholic Church covers up all their child abuse cases - in fact they don't even bother to remove offenders from the church - they just move them to another parish

Hell , In Brisbane the Mayor is an ex priest with a conviction of paedophilia - it's really just becuase thwe majority of ppl do not knwo anythign about devotees of Krishna that they are so wick to jump on this story

this case has been going on for years now and I rememeber when I was living in the Ashram that there was talk amongst senior iskcon members that the society might eventually have to sell off all the temples worlwide just to pay for the court costs - becuase unlike other religions which hoard all their money (hmm... why does the vatican come to mind?) ISKCON actually gives all their money away to needy ppl. So they don't have any money to 'buy' the plaintiff off.
I don't think the plaintiff will win - after all where are the witnesses>?and he is nowhere to be found.
