yes ... it's a Koi ...it has less red then it looks . it's mostly orange .. some of the red it blood in the scabbing. the koi is going to be part of an entire sleeve that is made up of Asian art ..traditional like the Koi and some more modern ... you have to be into the art of tattoo's to understand it ... it's about having art on your body .. everything doesn't have to have a specific meaning ... it can just remind you of a time and place in your life ...

Mike - had my back done a few years ago - this is right after the black work was done - and Ive never had him do the coloring as I liked it just the way it was - but really didnt hurt as much as I thought it would - especially after the first three hours LOL

that's a nice piece ... I find that after the needle has been in you skin for a while the body starts to kick in endorphins and the pain steps down by half ... i guess the fact is that people get it done so it won't kill ya ... just bite your lip and deal with it ...

Mike - thats what I figured too - the body has a way of overcoming it all - of course someone had to sit there and take a video too which reminds me of what the first cuts were like LOL
