Are they using the IntraLase laser to cut the flap? It's supposed to reduce complications 70% and give you better results.

i believe they use a microkeratome.. never heard of intralaser

That's the old way. The new IntraLase laser is a huge leap forward. Especially combined with the new Wavefront Lasik procedure.

I have had it done its so simple you dont feel a thing.

as soon as you get up from the table you can see better but not clear in 2 days I was seeing perfect 20/15 vision it was amazing its been 5 years now and I love it

I had PRK done which has worse recovery and it wasn't that bad. The people I know who have done lasik said they didn't feel a thing and recovery was like a day or two with no pain. I absolutely love it being that I wore glasses or contacts for the past 20 years. My vision is now 20/15. The creepiest (sp) part about the procedure is smelling your eyeballs being fried.
