What he said. No need to be worried.
The worst part is the "screw" they use to keep your eyes open.
No need to worry about the treatment itself though.

nojob 08-15-2005 07:48 AM

I want to get it soo bad, but I am scared.

Are they using the IntraLase laser to cut the flap? It's supposed to reduce complications 70% and give you better results.

That's the old way. The new IntraLase laser is a huge leap forward. Especially combined with the new Wavefront Lasik procedure.

does this correct both near and far vision?

and can it be repeated as you age?

Big_Papi 08-15-2005 02:40 PM

I had PRK done which has worse recovery and it wasn't that bad. The people I know who have done lasik said they didn't feel a thing and recovery was like a day or two with no pain. I absolutely love it being that I wore glasses or contacts for the past 20 years. My vision is now 20/15. The creepiest (sp) part about the procedure is smelling your eyeballs being fried. :thumbsup

We the stuff they have right. What you'll be feeling then will be minimal pain as possible. :winkwink:
Looking forward for a better eyesight.
