Need help with EXIM
OK I tried EXIM.org, my hosts tech support (sagonet) and other avenues.
seems the only place I get a good answer on thgis stuff is from you guys hopefull you can help me Im using cpanel/WHM if that makes any difference but i think the issue is a config issue with exim I have set up email forwarding for domain.com to forward to meATmyisp.com the idea is to have any email sent to that domain forward to my normal email addy the output from http://www.dnsreport.com/tools/dnsre...n=mydomain.com shows no errors but whenever I send an email to that domain it bounces with this error: <[email protected]> Permanent Failure: 550-"The_recipient_cannot_be_verified.__Please_check_a ll_recipients_of_this Delivery last attempted at Sun, 14 Aug 2005 18:36:38 -0000 Reporting-MTA: dns; comcast.net Arrival-Date: 14 Aug 2005 18:36:36 +0000 Can anyone point me to whats wrong? The DNS has propogated, the rDNS records are good...everything is fine according to dnsreport.com Thanks Guys...Once again

added info
if I set up a pop3 accouint the emails get delivered correctly to that account, that account can also send email properly so the only thing that doesnt work is forwarding when I look in etc/valiases I see my domains but all the files there are 0 length (empty) shouldnt they contain the forwardiong info...this is looking more and more like a cpanel fuckup

I'm not sure I am following the problem you are having..
Are you setting the default address here: http://www.yourdomain.com:2082/frontend/x/mail/def.html ? Maybe that error is comcast filtering email out? I'd setup a gmail account or something and test that. (I actually have all my domain emails go to a gmail account.. so I can keep em forever. ![]() |
