Good luck! Just keep the goal in mind and you can do it. I have a friend who lost 80 pounds. After she lost all the weight she put a picture of how she used to look in her wallet. Anytime she was trying to decide what to eat and she couldn't decide between fast food and McDonalds she would look ate the picture in her wallet. That helped her a lot.

Some great advice here in this thread too!!... I hope I can help here with a few highlights that have helped change My lifestyle. I was losing weight before my surgery in May.. and have contiuned since...
Here is a few great tips..


1) Losing weight is simple math.. you must burn more cals than you bring in.
Do something physically that makes you sweat.... It does not matter what it is.. walking, bicycle, mowing the lawn, kinky sex WHATEVER!!
start out slow.. and add a lil more and more each day... When you can go 20-30 mins without rest.. it is time to intensify the activity. I strongly suggest doing different things day in / day out.. crosstraining so to say..

2) Sugars and Fats - NO NO NO NO
Get aware of the machine you're in. YOUR BODY
It has specific fuel needs (that vary body to body!!)
Get in tune with the body beautiful - know your blood sugar levels, your cholesterol, your static pulse rate, your Blood Pressure etc...
Research and find the fuels (foods) that are best for you and then add about 6 more vegetables a day and you are probably close !!!

3) Get support - Medical, spiritual etc..
Find a friend that has similar goal and work together to better yourselves.
And dont hesitate to use the support of others.... It is 10x harder to lose weight than it was to gain it
Also.. dont just measure weight... measure inches... Keep a chart of your progress and make it a point to keep track!!! And remember... you are doing this for YOURSELF !!!

Sounds like you are motivated and have lots of good advice. Just remember that its not how much you weigh, its % body fat vs. % muscle. The less body fat you have the better of course - but muscle weighs more than fat - so when you get going, and you start losing - do NOT get discouraged if the scale goes back up - you need to watch your body - keep track of how your clothes fit and pay attention to how you feel when doing your daily routine. Small things can add up too - like take the stairs ALWAYS instead of the elevator or escalator. And don't forget to take a multivitamin - prenatal is great - even for women who aren't pregnant - EVERY DAY take your vitamin. Good luck and just remember to be healthy about it!

i have 42-DD's (natural) so i know those take up a few pounds for sure, but when i was 22 yrs old (im now 24 yrs old), i had the perfect weight & a 36-D cup. then i went full time online and gained 40 pds & now im a size 42-DD.

you know how hard it is to work out with these puppies? LOL
