Titanic was marked towads the teen crowd.

They did a brilliant job, putting in nudity and getting a PG-13 rating. This stirred up a buzz that got all the underage boys wanting to see it.

What they did was have Kate Winslet do a nude Scene while Leonardo DiCaprio drew her picture. By doing that they claimed the nudity was "artistic" and not sexual, thereby keeping the film PG-13. Then in the next scene they have each other fucking each others brains out in a car without nudity, just enough to keep from getting an R rating.

Only in Hollywood can you get away with that. What do you think would happen to a webmaster that created a website for underage kids. Look "artisitc" nudity on this page... and then the same people screwing on the next page, but without nudity.

I'm not a big fan of any of the LOTR's or Titanic. Also, Million Dollar Baby wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Maybe I need to watch it again.

My commentary on Movies.....

The absolute worst is listening to some jerk off go rambling on and on about the hipster movie of the month.

Lost in Translation will most likely turn out to be some top secret social experiment where the govt has done testing to see if you can actually make a huge dent in public opinion without having delivered anything to them.....

I live in Los Angeles and the pet peeve i have is that inside of six months every fucking WAITER who claims to be an actor has become the fucking authoirity on movies because they sit and listen to some ass hat agent asst's in some over priced club where they cannot afford to be in the first place pontificate about how the new "indie" film du jour is the absolute best.....not knowing this is a bullshit review they are regurgintating from the boss they hate who heard it from one of the people he or she has there nose up their ass with.....the waiter then goes on to have the same conversation in the WAITER commune they share with other waiters in Studio City....

You want to be different go run around Hollywood with a sandwich board reading I eat cat food during sex....thats different....

jumping on the asshat indie film let me tell you how cool it is even if I dont think so because I want to look really smart and cool train.....not different... in fact its typical

two thumbs down

The LOTR series I thought was average at best.

TiGrrPrr 08-18-2005 03:57 PM

Bad Santa the only thing I thought helped it was parts with Billy Bob & the 'kid' Therman Herrman.
