Anyone Have or Use A VERIZON WIRELESS BROADBAND CARD For Internet Access?
I am looking at these and curious how fast the upload speed is in rural areas...i.e. the middle of nowhere. It says uploads are between 60-80 kbps - Anyone familiar with these cards?

I got one from tmobile. Its not the fastest but its far cheaper per month. And Ive used my verizon cell phone like that card. Verizon is a bit faster than tmobile from what Ive noticed.

Sprint is also in the biz. Wondering about speed vs price on all of them. The other thing to consider is coverage. Sprint prolly wins???

I think that for the most part the coverage is pretty good, There are few places that the phones dont work well, But I have not really read anything about the speeds for the computers.

check the maps. the evdo speeds are awsome, but they are only in major metropolitan areas at the moment. if you are in an area that has data though, you are good. its almost everywhere in the US. and yea those outskirts give you speeds at around 50-80k.
but if you are in an evdo area you get 400-1.5

I have the sprint card and it rocks.. I used it in both Fla & SD and had faster speeds then the hotels could offer with all the webmasters sucking the band.
