Remote Thumbs Sponsor Questions

If I do not fill out the sponsor information for remote thumbs, does it automatically use remotethumbs sponsors codes? If not, can I add the sponsors codes later without having to manually edit each template to manually add the sponsor to it?

It will only use the sponsors that you fill in and add to the template. I would suggest going through and signing up for a bunch of them first before defining the templates. It will not automatically fill in the sponsor codes with remootethumbs affiliate codes that I know of (although I am sure Joesho and Inabon would think that is a wonderful idea..lol).

Thanks I am just worried that if I fill out all the sponsor codes later but still generate some templates, the new sponsors will not be added to the old templates without manually changing them. Also, do you know how I could delete a sponsor from a template by any chance?

On the original RT setup it was like that. I think now they have it set that if you pick a niche and you have a sponsor in that niche that has galleries they will automatically come in. Not sure of that though.

I don't think you can take a sponsor out of just one template anymore. I think you used to be able to.

Which cancels my answer last night about how to make rt feed two different templates with the same niche sorry about that.

Its quite simple, if a sponsorcode is filled in, it'll generate thumbs from that sponsor on the template. Ofcourse only if that particular sponsor has the templates' niches.

Once you blank them out, on the next generation this sponsor is gone.

Right now you cannot disable a sponsor from 1 template. nice idea tho

Hope this helps,

B.

Hey does anyone know the source code for the default template? I need to make the tables a certain default size and don't have something to play with. Thanks
