Even though you may hate Ibill

They did turn up to the show and seem to try to be sorting it out. Alot of companies would have just gone into liquidation.

They are not hiding and do want to do business.

I have always said put yourself in another mans shoes before criticising them.

Yes they fucked up, alot of it wasnt their fault. I honestly think they really want to be in business.

Main problem is that no-one will use them.

Remember when you used to get Ibill checks? Great wasnt it. CCBill and Epoch perfected the billing system though and Ibill was taken over by people that didnt understand porn.

The one thing I have always wanted to know is where did all the money go that was made by the webmasters that didnt hit the $50 minimum payout. With CCBill you can merge accounts so even the small guys hit the $50 pay out. With Ibill you had to have loads of accounts. There must have been hundreds of thousands of accounts which never hit the $50 mark hence an account with millions in it.

Where is that cash? Legally it is not theirs and they must have it in a client account somewhere.

i agree. if they dont pay they dont pay. Its way easier in that situation to redirect the phones to an AM and dissapear from the planet. Although i think ibill is trash the fact they shhow up for confrontation gives them balls.

I would be worried about the larger guys that are owed thousands of dollars long before the guys that didn't hit minimum payment.

I have a feeling you would hold a different opinion if they owed you a large chunk of change, like they do many.

I don't really give a shit if they showed up or not - ALL that I care about is that they make good on my $27K+ which up to now they have made NO attempt - other than to tell me that I need to send them more $$ and signups and give them complete trust before they would give me back my $$ in full - thats FUCKED UP no matter how you slice it - I don't care if they have all of the best intentions - they have not shown good intentions to me and many others.

IF they wanted to make things right - give me some substantial payments - say divide what is owed by 12 months and start making monthly payments - no questions - no traffic or signups to them - THEN I would start to believe that they have good intentions.

What they are offering to now is no more than another bullshit - skate around approach that NO ONE should trust.

Don't "hate" IBill or anyone for their stupidity/lying/incompetence - it's just they way they are and stems from the top.

IBill or whoever claims to be operating IBill, or their rising from the ashes new edition corps, have little choice but to face up - the probability that criminal action would follow if they "liquidated" is high.

On "fault" - hell yeah... there is little doubt their demise is of their own making. They gave volumes of biz to one bank in the US and ignored that bank's notice that they intended to terminated dealing with em. The reasons for the termination was obvious - banks prefer to avoid dealing with crooks and people with dubious backgrounds.

They then proceeded to promise a lot and deliver nada.

When a TTP declares they have independent escrow security or some insurance in the event of their demise is the day I'll start trusting em with shit - the silence on this is deafening. It's only a matter of time till the next one hits the dirt with webmasters losing still more.

PS... Segpay may have "some" form of security - never actually checked - but the names behind Segpay are the same and they don't deserve another chance to screwup again.

Lucky I wasn't at the show. Someone would have had a hard time walking back to their hotel room without crutches.

You hit the nail on the head

Iball's is back with still more lies and to compound their incompetence they are trying to trade while being under funded. They need a huge number of stupid people to open accounts so that they can start to pay back money that is owed since September 2004. The only way they can do this is to blackmail people into sending traffic by holding the millions of $ owed to ransom ( I.E. Send us member and we will start to pay you what we owe you ). Someone in another thread has already found out via their attorney that the contract you need to sign is full of loopholes.

Don't fall for their bullshit propaganda, remember they have a 7 year history of incompetence, lie's and deceit.

I don't know Segpay but if just one of the old employees of IBALL's is working there i will never use them and i strongly suggest everyone else think twice before risking their hard earned money with them ?

That may be the main problem from their side, but from this side is that the money for all those signups came in, but the % that was supposed to go out to webmasters was NOT paid. Why? There is no justifiable reason for it.

It's the same as all those design brokers a few years ago taking full payment from clients, then neglecting to pay their designers. The ones who to this day haven't paid their designers what is owed them still have shit on their reputations.

Ibill wants to do new business
Webmasters want to be paid

Looks to me like Ibill will do very little new business until they come up with a way to pay what they already owe (money they already took in from sales I might add).

There may also be some more brown smelly stuff to hit the fan if/when iBill report on who they have been paying out recently, expecting those sponsors to pay their webmasters directly. If I understand correctly, that is how (some of) the payouts have been handled lately?

I don't recall any affiliates reporting they have received any such payouts from sponsors: I certainly haven't seen a cent.

Right on the mark. Who is going to send new sales when they aren't getting paid on old sales. That strategy has no long term future. If all outstanding was paid out promply now I'm sure some webmasters would put up small links again (maybe 3rd or 4th in a cascading billing setup for instance) on good faith but not unless the previous money is paid.

They should talk less and pay out more. Is there anything to discuss really?
