I just recently had dealings with Phatservers. The support from Phatservers (Evan) is great and their network connection seems quite good. Prices are even better.

$13.99 gives you 20GB and 400MB of storage.
We have great uptimes (the only problem we had so far in months was a broken processor in one of the boxes but we always have new boxes ready just in case).

In our plans, we go from 20 to 120GB/month.

I can give you a flat-rate of $1.99/gig. Pay for what you use retroactively, no big commitments. We also provide SLA agreements in regards to downtime, so we tend to lose quite a lot of money if we're down for more than an hour in a given month (incentive for us to not allow that to happen, and fix it ASAP when if it does).
